Don't miss out! The Wheels for Wheels Ride to Camp Twin Lakes is coming in July. See below for more information.

Information Column

Save the Date!  Sunday, July 27, 2008 9th Wheels for Wheels Kids MDA Camp Ride. Police-escorted ride to Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge.  Registration is at Stone Mountain H-D from 12:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Ride departs SMHD at 2:00 p.m.   Bike show, 50/50 raffle, Biker bear auction.

Wheels for Wheels is SMHOG’s signature ride.  It is “our ride,” if you only participate in one charity ride this year, make W4W the one.

We need your help to make this years ride the best ever.  We need you to do the following:

  1. Participate in the ride on July 27
  2. Bring at least one other person to the ride - a neighbor, co-worker, HOG member
  3. Ask your company about becoming a sponsor, or contributing items for the goodie bags (pens, note pads, caps, etc.)
  4. Become a sponsor yourself, then ask your company if they have a matching gifts program.

Please contact Pete Camuso at 770-757-2854, or petecamuso@comcast.net if you have questions or want to help with the Wheels for Wheels Ride

Notables...

NEW! Chapter Shirts are here! Red, Blue and Grey only $15 each or 2 for $28. See the Quartermasters at our next event.

The Quartermasters are collecting the pull tabs from drink cans again for the Ronald McDonald House. Last year they collected a gazillion tabs. This year they are shooting for a quadrazillion, so bring them all of the pull tabs that you can.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is just another way to meet more of your HOG brothers and sisters. Some events will even score you more MVP points! These points are only available to Stone Mountain HOG members. If you see an event that you would like to be part of, contact Wayne Lynch, Volunteer Coordinator, and let him know you are available.
